About

With a deep passion for supporting young children from the age of 5, I specialise in creative, play-based therapeutic interventions designed to help children process trauma, anxiety, and anger. Understanding that play is a child’s natural language, I utilise techniques such as storytelling, art, and role-playing to create a safe and engaging environment where children can express their emotions and experiences freely. My approach is tailored to each child’s unique needs, focusing on building trust and fostering resilience. By setting achievable goals, I guide children through their healing journey, empowering them to develop healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills.

At ReWellness, we believe in the importance of early intervention and the profound impact it can have on a child’s well-being. If you feel your child could benefit from a supportive, creative therapeutic environment to navigate their emotions, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Clinical Background

I also have past experience working with Relate on The Turnaround Project which involved working with children and women affected by domestic violence. This included going into middle/secondary schools for one-to-one work with the child and supporting workshops for mums and children. I had further opportunities whilst at Relate, with CAMHS young people referrals. I was involved with Leonardo Trust Counselling Adult and Young Carers.

My Early Years Pre School Practice Level 3 gave me an excellent foundation in play and development of the younger child’s milestones, attachment, and learning stages, and having home-educated my own 5 children through various stages of the process. I am now enjoying being a Grandparent.

I like to be in nature, draw, play the guitar, or explore creative writing in my spare time. Having recovered from a long-term chronic illness I have a passion for health and well-being, linking nutrition with the mind-body connection.
