ReWellness Counselling Cultural Wellbeing Ambassador

About

My journey from India to the UK has shaped my passion for supporting people from diverse cultural backgrounds as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their strengths. Growing up in a traditional yet culturally rich environment, I’ve personally experienced the transformative power of breaking through societal expectations to pursue personal growth and I’m here to help others do the same.

background

With a background in architecture, I’ve always been fascinated by the connection between space and wellbeing. My thesis project focused on designing a yoga retreat – a peaceful sanctuary promoting mental health through mindfulness and breathing practices like pranayama. This exploration led me to complete a Mental Health First Aid course, and I’m now deepening my skills through formal counselling training.

Before joining ReWellness, I worked closely with international students, helping them settle into new environments and supporting their personal development. These experiences reinforced the importance of creating welcoming spaces where people feel truly seen, heard, and understood.

Outside of work, I love practicing yoga and exploring creative projects. I’m excited to be part of the ReWellness team and contribute to building a more inclusive and supportive community.
