Hi. My name is Emma Oaksford, my focus is to support individuals and couples to heal, energize, and become aware of their inner strengths. I can help you learn how to communicate more effectively and reach your relationship goals. I hope to achieve this by providing a neutral, non-judgemental, safe space, listening to your thoughts and feelings and supporting you in setting achievable and meaningful goals.

I am an Integrative Counsellor which means I incorporate different theoretical approaches which enables me to respond to you in a way that feels appropriate to your needs.

Clinical Background

My clinical areas of experience and expertise are working with Individuals, Couples and Parents.

I work as an individual and couple Counsellor with Relate and in private practice. I also work as a trauma therapist using the IARTT Rewind Technique. My specialist areas of interest are relationships, domestic abuse, antenatal and postnatal counselling and the changing of relationships, dissociation and trauma.

I hold an enhanced current DBS
