Danny
About
Hi I’m Danny, originally from Trinidad and Tobago I moved to the UK in 1990 to train as a psychiatric nurse. Since qualifying in 1994, I worked in various mental health inpatient and community settings before joining the prison services in 2007 working within Dorset’s and Bristol Prisons cluster.
In 2020, as lead clinician, I helped set up an Adult ADHD NHS Service in Somerset. In 2021 I re-joined the Prison services, providing an ADHD Service for 4 prisons in the Southwest. I have worked in the NHS for 33 years.
With 17 years of national and international extensive training and education in ADHD, my foundation for ADHD is rooted in a deep passion for aiding individuals facing this condition. I’ve witnessed the potential destructive impacts of untreated ADHD, ranging from addiction and criminality, to challenges in managing work, finances, relationships, and daily activities.
Through my expertise, I aim to contribute to a comprehensive understanding and effective support for those navigating the complexities of ADHD.
I believe that there is a great need for adults to better understand ADHD for themselves and their children, and learn how diagnosis and effective treatment can change lives.
I look forward to working with you to better your life.
