Children’s emotional worlds, like all of ours, affect everyday lives and we promote positive mental health by encouraging children to face a problem, talk about it and develop independent thinking, resilience and greater autonomy through belief in themselves. Our children’s counselling service is tailored to every child’s unique needs.
Through children’s counselling we can help them to discover the tools needed to cope and steer their way through school and beyond, children who present as angry, anxious, or depressed are able to find ways to ease the distress and regulate their behaviours to much more positive and rewarding ones.
what does children’s counselling look like?
Our children’s counselling services provide a safe, welcoming space for children to express themselves, explore their feelings, and work through challenges in a way that feels comfortable and natural to them. Our skilled counsellors, specialising in techniques such as play therapy, sand tray therapy, art therapy, and talking therapies, understand that each child has a unique way of communicating. Through creative and interactive methods, we support children in processing emotions and developing healthy coping strategies. Whether they express themselves best through play, art, or conversation, we’re here to listen and help them navigate their feelings in a way that makes sense to them.
